Womad
Womad stands for World of music and dance. This is one of our favourite festivals. Here the emphasis is on world music. You do not have a huge main stage with a headline act but smaller stages set around the site. This means there are not the crowds and you can wander from stage to stage experiencing different styles of music. With the different workshops and beautiful grounds this is a great family festival. We have been involved with Womad for many years from when it was in Reading and followed it to its new site near Malmesbury.
